Healing Power Of Sound
Healing defined in the dictionary “To make or become sound or whole”
Sound has been associated with creation, what ever ancient text you look in the beginning of time sound was the vehicle to what moved and created energy. The bible quotes “In the beginning was the word”. From India’s Vedic scriptures comes the term Nada Brahaman which means “the primal sound of being” or “being itself”
All things in life vibrate due to the movement of electrons and protons of every atom, molecule and substance. Quantum Mechanics has proven that the substance of matter is nothing more than vibration and nothing solid exists in the universe. Matter is simply a collection of vibrating waves of energy. Anything that vibrates produces a sound, audible or inaudible, and creates cyclical waves. At a cellular level, our bodies are a nucleus surrounded by endlessly rotating waves of energy. When we hear a noise in our environment, we are really experiencing these waves occurring at a certain frequency–the number of sound waves per second. Frequency is expressed in cycles per second through a measurement called Hertz. Each Hertz measurements can be thought of as pulses of sound. The higher the sound frequency, the faster the waves are moving. Sound waves are eternal.
Everything that you can physically see holds a vibrational frequency, plants, cars, animals, even the earth her self-holds a vibrational frequency, also all living beings. Some people are aware of this by making reference to this by stating that they feel “a good or bad vibe” about someone. This is a reflection to what we think, speak and more important how we do it. If we are angry or happy is reflected in our energy field that is not seen yet obviously felt.
A sound is food for our body and soul. Vibration is nutrients for the brain as sounds
stimulate and charges the neo-cortex with electrical impulses. Sound is the basis of language development and guides us in communication. But far morethann that the auditory system is connected to every muscle in the body, interacts with the cranial nerves that send information to and from the brain and maintains balance.
When we create a sound this vibrates at a certain frequency, which then converts into a sound wave that is communicated and transformed into information, which is transported into molecules within the body. This is the stage when a disease is created in the body as we store our suppressed emotions (energy in motion), into the system this way and is held in different places in the emotional body until we look at our selfs and let go of whatever situation you might be hanging on to.
The human body is a bioelectric system that can be altered, strengthen and balanced by sound whether it is with the use of voice, musical instruments, tibetan/ crystal bowls, the ocean, or birds singing. Sound effects are the whole nervous system. What ever the sound modality there will be a shift inside the physical and energetic body that will break up, replace, alter, strengthen and balance the whole system.
The power of Intention with sound and vibration using sound with intention is like a forgotten power that is within all of us. The laws of physics show it clearly, as thought follows awareness or another way to say this is, where the mind goes energy flows. This is the power we have to direct the sound waves, (thoughts and words also hold a vibration) that go into the body to heal, transform, and transmute energy. Sound is a carrier wave for intentions.
More people are starting to awaken and realize that their lives can be changed simply by changing their perspective which at a cellular level changes the frequency of thought. For example seeing the beauty in every day not just if the sun is shining but really appreciating the so called “bad day” for what it gifts us. May it be rain, wind, snow all of the aspects that we might look at as being a “bad” thing is only from our perspective. Imagine how your perspective would change if you were told you had one day left on earth? You would see from another view, why not choose to adopt that thought every day?
Just experience for your self as you take a few deep breaths in and repeat the word, “I love my self” both internally and externally, how does the whole body feel? Then try it again with the word hate repeated again internally and externally how does that feel? The muscles constrict hearing certain words as they have a lower frequency.
A Japanese scientist MrEmoto has devoted his life’s work to the study of water. By exposing water to a particular word or piece of music, freezing it, and photographing the ice crystals formed, Dr. Emoto has shown that from beautiful words and music, come beautiful crystals, and from mean-spirited, negative words, come malformed and misshapen crystals. Whatis the significance? It becomes clear when we remember that the adult human body is approximately 70% water and infant bodies are about 90% water. We can be hurt emotionally and, as the water can be changed, for the worse physically by negativity. However, we are always closer to beauty when surrounded by positive thoughts, words, intentions and ultimately those vibrations.
It was written in many ancient texts that the word is sacred and this has not changed as our word should power to harm or heal another. Through the words, there is a frequency. When we have a thought this is also forms a vibration, as with each thought there is a pressure that creates a wave and goes into the unseen world of vibration felt in our electromagnetic field also known as our Aura field.
Modern medicine is starting to implement the use of sound healing tools. Dr Mitch Gaynor who is the director of the Oncology department in New York brings in the Tibetan bowls, gongs and toning into his practice with his patients. Having great results in the speed of healing he has seen enough proof that he continues to merge alternative healing with modern medicine.
Everything is in constant movement and change and more people are starting to see the power of choice, to become aware of our thoughts and shift from the old to the new. Knowing that with each harmful word we are harming our selfs and all those around us.
One can reform old limited belief patterns and conditioning through the use of intention, thought and sound. We create with words and sound. Almost all our actions and reactions result from words. Beneath these words is the vibration of the tone upon which they travel. Tone ( a form of sound) is the underlying force operating in our lives. The choice is up to you in every thought you think and every word you speak on how to live your life. In this shift we need to be conscious of our thoughts and words and through the practice of Meditation it helps to create a spaciousness in the mind which allows us to see more clearly. May this be a kind reminder of your inner power, through the use of intention as you become aware of raising your personal vibration through, what you think to speak and do, is all a reflection from you.
May it be that your desire to live life, Feeling Soul Good be what guides your way!!
