Chakra is a Sanskrit word which means wheel or disk. Each living being has energy moving in and out of their main energy centres in the body – whether one is conscious of them or not. They are not seen, only felt. The chakra centres make up what you can say are the hard drive of our bio-computer. They compile our beliefs, judgments, guilt, shame, fears, and reflect our consciousness – all that shapes and composes our being.
These chakras, or energy centres, function as pumps or valves, regulating the flow of energy throughout our energy system. The functioning of the chakras reflects decisions we make concerning how we choose to respond to conditions in our life. We open and close these valves when we decide what to think, what to feel, and through which perceptual filter we choose to experience the world around us.
The more you understand about the subtle bodies, the more you learn about yourself and what your personal programming has been. All that inhibits us from being in our hearts all the time has been taught to us, as it’s our essence to love.
