Sequoia’s journey into yoga began in 1993 in northern India. Seeking discipline and deeper understanding, she immersed herself in ashram life in Rishikesh, studying at the Shivananda Center under the guidance of Swami Krishna and Swami Ji.
She later returned to Canada, where she successfully ran a holistic healing practice for eight years before fully dedicating her life to teaching yoga, sound healing, and leading ceremonial experiences.
To continually deepen her practice, Sequoia regularly attends meditation retreats in Buddhist monasteries and ashrams. She also spends time in solitude, often retreating into nature for several days of silence and reflection — strengthening her connection to both self and spirit.

Sequoia’s work expanded into the transformative realm of sound through Nada Yoga — the yoga of sound and vibration.
Inspired and guided by renowned teachers such as Tom Kenyon, Mitch Nur, Lisa Murphy, Gina Sala, Uma Ji, Sadhvi Abha Saraswati (Mataji), the Gundhacha Brothers, and Chloe Goodchild, she integrates ancient sound practices into her healing work.
Through this, she offers a deeper dimension of healing — where vibration, breath, and awareness come together to create profound inner shifts.

Sequoia’s extensive training reflects her dedication to a truly holistic path of healing:
